From 27 to 30 April 2023, The National Office of Handicrafts recently participated in the scientific symposium on plant fibers in a hostel in Tozeur where the Diwan was represented by Mr. Afif Jarad, a director entrusted with a mission, by presenting an intervention about the plant fiber sector in its relationship to traditional industries with the presentation of a documentary that embodies the successful experiences in this specialty which offers an approach between art and traditional craft.
This was done, by the way, in coordination with the Regional Delegation for Handicrafts in Tozeur organizing an exhibition for vegetable fiber products and the event included a display of distinguished traditional costumes.
