Ms. Asma Jabri, Minister of Women, Children, and the Elderly, announced this Wednesday morning, August 12, 2026, the launch of the national platform for marketing women's products.

The launch ceremony was attended by Mr. Yassine Friaa, CEO of the National Post Office; Ms. Leila Messelati, Director General of the National Office of Traditional Industries; Mr. Nabil Assaf, Representative of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Tunisia; and Ms. Leila Rajhi, Representative of Expertise France; alongside members of the steering committee responsible for establishing the national digital platform for marketing women's products.

The Minister stated that the creation of this platform underscores the steadfast national commitment to supporting the marketing of products made by women and girls in the digital space, facilitating their access to markets and services, and generating economic momentum at the national level. She noted that the platform represents the culmination of a collaborative effort among government bodies—at both national and regional levels—spanning technological, communication, and logistical workstreams.

She also commended the efforts of the central and regional committees established for this purpose. These committees were tasked with identifying beneficiaries, setting product selection and quality assurance criteria, and managing product aggregation. They also handled the technical and IT stages related to the platform's design, ensuring ease of access and usability, as well as promoting the platform's various components at the regional level for the benefit of the women and girls registered on it. For his part, the CEO of the Tunisian National Post Office commended the partnership and cooperation with the Ministry aimed at promoting women's products via the newly established platform. He outlined his institution's role as focusing on two key areas: payment and collection services, and delivery and logistics.

Meanwhile, the Director General of the National Office of Traditional Industries highlighted the platform as an opportunity to promote and showcase traditional craft products made by women. She noted that it adds value to these products—particularly those created by home-based artisans—and described this collaborative national mechanism as a tool that will assist craftswomen in promoting their work domestically, and eventually internationally.

During the event, partnership agreements were signed between the Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly, the Tunisian National Post Office, and the National Office of Traditional Industries. These agreements establish a framework for cooperation to launch an innovative digital ecosystem. This system provides craftswomen with a secure, structured space to market their products, exchange expertise, and expand economic and social cooperation through the national digital platform dedicated to marketing products made by women and girls. On this occasion, an introductory video was also presented showcasing the national digital platform for marketing products made by women and girls. The platform can be accessed at the following web address:
