Regional meetings to introduce the "Easy Export" program—designed to facilitate the export of products from artisans and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) via the postal network—within the framework of the "Trade" project.

Within the framework of the "E-commerce and Digital Trade in the MENA Region" project—co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the International Trade Centre (ITC)—the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, in collaboration with the National Post Office, the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX), and the National Office of Handicrafts (ONA), intends to organize a series of regional meetings. These meetings aim to introduce the "Easy Export" program, which facilitates the export of products from artisans and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) via the postal network.
The meetings will be held according to the following schedule:
Tunis: September 29, 2026
Sousse: September 30, 2026
Sfax: October 1, 2026
Gabes: October 2, 2026
El Kef: October 14, 2026
Specifically, these meetings aim to:
Introduce the various procedures, mechanisms, and benefits offered by the "Easy Export" program;
Present the support mechanisms available to facilitate export operations via the postal network;
Enable artisans, SMEs, and startups to identify and capitalize on available export opportunities;
Simplify access to foreign markets and streamline procedures for shipping export parcels.
Enterprises and artisans participating in the program may also benefit from support provided by the Export Promotion Fund (FOPRODEX), covering 50% of the shipping costs for export parcels, in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
