Last March, Ulrika met Lamia in Sejnane during an artistic residency that fostered exchange, creativity, and the sharing of knowledge regarding traditional pottery.
During her summer holiday in Sweden, Cecilia Ramsten was delighted to meet Ulrika Elmberg again and discuss this remarkable human and artistic experience—one that continues to inspire and generate enthusiasm.
Today, the adventure continues: the works they created together will be showcased at the ArtiCrea 2026 exhibition, held from October 5 to 11 at the Kram Exhibition Center in Tunis.
It is an opportunity to celebrate the skill and creativity of the craftswomen of Sejnane and to highlight the bonds of friendship and cultural exchange between Tunisia and Sweden.
The Embassy of Sweden extends its sincere thanks to the National Office of Traditional Crafts (ONAT) for its valuable support and partnership in making this cultural collaboration a success and in promoting Tunisian artisanal heritage.
Join us at ArtiCrea 2026 to discover the next chapter of this Tunisian-Swedish adventure!
